Transposzing has a great post called “In Anticipation of the Feast”.
I don’t remember the kneeling vespers service, possibly because I have never been to one. Being Orthodox only one year and having two babies in less then two years, I have missed a lot. I am excited for this service!
I love -C’s blog! The Kneeling Prayers are a particular favorite of mine, but I remember years when I missed them as well.
I’ve only been to this service once before. I was traveling and ended up in an ethnic Antiochian church. It was the most beautiful church service I’ve ever been to. I didn’t understand a single word, but it still had a huge impact on me. I can wait to attend this in my home parish.
