Her natural abilities are attributed to God, as are most of her accomplishments, but she is clearly proud of them. She is honest about her anger about losing her favoirte cell and having to obey those whose judgement she could not respect. Her struggles with her mother are clearly laid out, as is her fear in being swallowed up in family responsibilties.
Surprise: this is from Holy Women of Russia, and it is speaking about Abbess Taisiia (of whom I know nothing about… yet).
