The Strike is Still On

Rebecca was wondering if “the strike is still on”, and it most definitely is.
I’ve given up trying now and my milk supply has diminished rapidly (almost too rapidly- it makes me wonder how much I even had before she quit); so there is not much hope for us at this point. If Grace were much younger, I would be pumping every hour to get my supply back up, but, at this point, she will be ok. She’ll be one in exactly three weeks (yikes!). At that point, I’ll give her milk to drink.
I never thought I’d have a “formula baby”- but my friends are telling me that three weeks doesn’t really make her one. So, I’ll hang on to that for now.
Lord willing, there will be more babies down the road.
