Conversation in the car
- Little Man: Mommy, look! A cross.
- Mommy: Wow. Who died on the cross?
- Little Man: Jesus died on the cross.
- Mommy: Jesus died on the cross because he loves you.
- Little Man: Mommy? I want Jesus to cuddle me.
Conversation in the car the following day
- Little Man: Mommy, look! A cross.
- Mommy: Good job. Who died on the cross?
- Little Man: Jesus died on the cross.
- Mommy: Who does Jesus love?
- Little Man: Jesus loves me. Jesus laid down and Christ is risen from the dead.
He’s not even three! I love how the Orthodox faith just makes sense to children. Maybe one day I’ll hear him singing a song like Peregrine.

Sweet! I love to hear how they perceive things!

So sweet.
Aren’t these the best conversations? I wish I would’ve written them all down, I try to now though. The innocence of childhood never ceases to amaze me.
