When does fall begin for you? As soon as the temperature changes enough to leave the windows open all day.
What is your favorite aspect of fall? Being able to cuddle under a blanket with a warm cup of tea.
What is your favorite fall memory? Going to the Orchard with my family.
What do you like to drink in the fall? Warm apple cider. Surprising, isn’t it?
What’s your favorite fall food? Soup, freshly baked apple crisp, warm apple sauce (the chunky kind), bread, pumpkin doughnuts, and pumpkin pie.
What is fall weather like where you live? Far too short. The summer lasts into October and then winter begins in December or January, but we never get snow- just wet. It was much better in NY.
What color is fall? Orange with deep red on the eges.
What does fall smell like? Cinnamon and nutmeg.
Holiday shopping in fall: yes or no? I try. One year, I had all my shopping done by October- that’s not going to happen this year.
If you could go anywhere in the fall, where would you go? Back to NY and then up the New England coast to Maine- gorgeous!!
What is your favorite fall sport? We like soccer around here, but we are not big sports people.
Do you have a favorite fall chore? Pulling out the Christmas decorations and setting them up.
What is your least favorite thing about fall? Raking up our yard that is full of leaves from our neighbor’s trees.
What is your favorite fall holiday? Thanksgiving Day.
What’s your favorite kind of pie? It it a tie between Apple and my mom’s Pumpkin.
Which do you prefer, the Farm or the Fair? Definitely the Farm.
Do you have a favorite fall book? For some reason, the Harry Potty books pop into my head. I can imagine myself curled beneath a blanket on a cool night with Harry, Ron, and Hermione running through my imagination.
