Can’t Seem To Focus Right Now

My mom called this morning to tell me that they have moved her appointment to today. She is currently with an orthopedic oncologist. It appears that the tumor may be cancerous; so they will be doing a biopsy. I am not sure if that is something that are doing today or scheduling for another day. Please pray for her.
My Uncle Bob isn’t doing any better. He now has what the doctors call “ICU psychosis.” Being stuck in a bed in the same room for several weeks now is really wearing on him. After the tests they did last week, they were able to identify the strain of pneumonia that he has, but, unfortunately, they had already been treating for that strain. Prayers are appreciated for him as well.
As for me, I feel very run-down. We had a stomach virus this weekend, everyone but the little man. I am finally feeling more like myself, but now I have a cold. My husband was away all last week and this week on business. It is really hard being alone all day with my children without the respite that comes in the evening when my husband is done working for the day. I miss him.
Fortunately, I have some really wonderful friends who are taking care of me. Calling to check up on everything and running to the store for milk and bread. I am truly blessed. As much as I may feel very alone at times, I know that I have my friends and family who are there to support me, even if they aren’t right here with me.
