My Mother’s Report from the Doctor

The results from the MRI and CAT scans are in: They both found no other tumors in her body.
These are the three possible options for what the tumor is:
- infectious process in the bone
- benign tumor
- cancerous tumor
We are praying for #2. In all cases, she will need some sort of treatment, but it is unclear exactly what at this point.
Please continue to pray for her. The biopsy will be on October 13th. Then we will know exactly what type of tumor this is and what the next steps will be. Thanks for praying with us.

This is good news in a lot of different ways. That there is no cancer elsewhere means her body will be strong to fight the problem in the hip.
