My own children have such unwavering and trusting faith that my own faith is put to shame in comparison. I'm so happy to watch Christian Orthodox parents raise their children with patience and with love that truly reflects the Love of Jesus Christ for Us. I regret that I was not an Orthodox Christian when my son was young, I feel that I would have done better as a mother because I would have been surrounded by so many mentors (members of the Orthodox church) Including the Blessed Virgin Mary, whom as protestant, I was not taught to revere. Thank you, Michelle, for sharing your experiences with us regarding your mom's illness and story about your precious little girl. God be praised!
