Away in NY with a Diagnosis for My Mom
Nov 26th, 2008 by michelle
Sorry for my absense. We are in NY and we know the results of my mom’s biopsy.
My mom has cancer. She has a myloid sarcoma.
We are staying in town through Monday, which is the day that my mom has an appointment with the oncologist. At that point we will make some big decisions. We may end up moving back to NY.
Please pray for my mom, the doctors and our wisdom in deciding what we need to do.
Thank you, Michelle

Oh Michelle,
my heart goes out to you and your dear mother.
I will pray the Akathist “to the Mother of God, Healer of Cancer” for her over the next few days………..
sending hugs also.
Prayers for you and family.
Many, many prayers!
Do you know yet what stage?
God guide all your decisions.
Monday! What a way for your mom and you and your family to spend Thanksgiving!! I’m so, so sorry.
But do try to give thanks for all things anyway. All is under the control of His loving Providence, so that in ways we may not yet fathom, anything that happens, happens for the best. Our loving God sees to that.
So sorry to hear. Will seek to keep praying. This is a hard time for you. I pray that God will give you and your husband the inner space and peace when making decisions. Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy.
I’m so sorry to hear this news. I pray that you will have peace and joy together, and much thankfulness in your hearts, even in this. Lord, have mercy on you all. Hugs…
Michelle,
You are all in our prayers! Please let me know if there is anything at all I can do! Don’t forget that Christ is bigger than all of this; He still holds the power to heal.
With much love in Christ,
Sylvia
We are praying for your family… that God will give you strength.
love,
christina
Keep praying. As will all readers of your blog, I am sure. You are not alone!
My prayers and the prayers of my DW are with you and your Mom. Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy.
God bless, we will pray for you.
Wish there were correct words to offer, but please know for all of you, for all the needs, I am continuing to pray.
Julie
